Many companies send out marketing emails to their contacts and leads.
By utilizing one of the many free apps in the Salesforce App Exchange, we can create a way for you to allow your customers and prospects to unsubscribe from your email campaigns.
This code will process unsubscribe requests from the email recipients and update the email opt-out flag within your SFDC org.
The code simply searches the email subject line for the word “Unsubscribe” and updates all contacts/leads to HasOptedOutOfEmail=true.
